Wolverine (BPC-157 + TB-500)
Two substances working along different routes, and studied together for exactly that reason.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Blend of two peptides |
| Components | BPC-157 and TB-500 |
| Research field | Tissue repair, tendons, muscle |
| Research status | Preclinical |
| Form | Freeze dried powder in a vial |
What it is
Not a substance but a mixture. BPC-157 is linked to blood vessel formation, TB-500 to cell movement through actin. Two different points of action in the same repair process.
Why combined
Substances working along different routes can reinforce each other. That is the same thinking as a GHRH peptide alongside a ghrelin peptide. In practice it also saves handling steps, and with them chances to go wrong.
What to check
With a mixture a single purity figure says little: 99 percent of what? Ask for a certificate of analysis in which each component was measured separately and the ratio established. More on that in judging blends.
Limitation
If you want to know what one of the two substances does, a blend is unsuitable: any result can come from either or from the combination. For that question you need the separate substances.
Practical
Two substances means two shelf lives; the shorter one decides the whole. So watch the production date as well.

Judging blends: why a mixture follows different rules
With two or more peptides in a vial a purity figure is meaningless. What to ask for instead and where it goes wrong.
